NAZ Today – Director’s Cut 10-11-10
After recording director's cuts for most of the fall 2009 semester, I felt I had plenty of examples of my ability to direct, so I didn't record any during spring. This fall, I decided to make a few more cuts, and overall, I'm very happy with the directing I've been doing. I've learned to pay close attention to all sources while reading the script and make quick calls on instinct. For this director's cut, I've included a copy of the script that I direct off of, as it's marked. This show was particularly interesting because it was NAZ Today's first live shot in a long time (possibly over a year) and I had to make a couple of changes to the show after we went on air at 6.

NAZ Today – Director’s Cut 12-2-09
Preface: A director’s cut for NAZ Today is a recording of an entire show with the director’s headset chatter audible. Recorded December 2, 2009. Left: Headset audio.Right: Program audio. Pre-roll included: Bars and tone, black. TRT: 31:35
Notes for this show: The second half of this show (C-E blocks) were directed by Haley Quiner, currently in training for next semester. We had a major issue with pre-production when someone not affiliated with our program gained access to our editing system and moved some files around with less than a half hour before show, effectively cutting 5-6 videos including the opening billboards. Everything still came out well considering.
NAZ Today – Director’s Cut 11-25-09
Preface: A director’s cut for NAZ Today is a recording of an entire show with the director’s headset chatter audible. Recorded November 25, 2009. Left: Headset audio. Right: Program audio. Pre-roll included: Bars and tone, black. TRT: 31:24
Notes for this show: Two slip-ups. One instructing a camera to re-frame for a standard shot instead of an OTS shot. The other was taking a two shot instead of a one shot. Excuse: I had a cold.
